You can share in Narbulut nDocs Workspace as follows. #
  • Share : Sharing files and folders in your own domain (My Files) with users belonging to the organization
  • Download Link : Sharing the download link to users within your organization or to anyone outside of it
  • Share Temporary Space : You can safely share your folders and files with users outside the organization.
  • Ortak Alan : Sharing common space with users belonging to your organization.

Important Notice:

Users can do the following with the folders you share with them: #
  • Can manage, add and edit: Your users who are logged in to your organization with a Narbulut account can open, edit, delete or move the files in the folder within the permissions you have given. Users can also download files in the folder, add files to the folder.
  • Can only view: Users can see the folder and open all files in the folder.

More information about folder sharing:

  • If you share or unshare folders with many files or subfolders, it may take time to change all permissions. If you change many editing or viewing permissions at once, it may take time to see the changes.
  • Your nDocs Workspace storage size is calculated separately for individual workspace and shared space.
  • When managing large folder structures, child and parent folder permissions may differ. You can override the inherited permissions of subfolders to be different from the parent folder. You can also remove permissions that a subfolder inherits from its parent folder.
Choose who to share with #

specific people

As with files, you can choose to share only with certain users.

  1. In your browser login.narbulut.comby entering, Narbulut nDocs Workspace Go to the area.
  2. Right-click the folder you want to share.
  3. Share
    or to the right of the folder
    Share Click the icon.
  4. Select the users you want to share with.
  5. When you share your file, click on the list at the top right to decide what actions users can take on your document. Tam, Visual veya SpecialSelect .
  6. When you select Custom, define the permissions you want to grant.
  7. Users Mail veya SMS Choose to inform. If you do not want to notify users Uncheck the relevant box.
  8. ShareClick .
  9. You can send the download link of your folder to other users. You can grant permissions to the users you specify or Public you can send. So anyone who knows the link can access your folder. You can limit the expiration date and IP address.
For Everyone folder Download link #

Sharing a folder download link to a specific group or users #
  1. In your browser login.narbulut.comby entering, Narbulut nDocs Workspace Go to the area.
  2. Right click on the folder for which you want to create a Download Link.
  3. Download Link
    or to the right of the folder
    Download Link Click the icon.
  4. Public Make sure the option is turned off.
  5. Choose who to share the folder with.
  6. Define Expiration Date and IP Restriction.
  7. Create LinkClick .
  8. Link KopyalaClick . Paste it into an email or anywhere you want to share.
Sharing with Narbulut User Group #

Instead of sharing files and folders with individual people, you can share them with Narbulut User Groups. Users added to the group gain access to files and folders that the group can see or use. Members removed from the user group lose their access permission.

  1. Create a Narbulut User Group.
  2. Add members to the User Group.
  3. Share the file or folder with the group.

Not: Shared files or folders You can access it from the “Shared with me” section.

Edit and view shared files

When you share a folder, the sharing settings for the files and subfolders within it are also updated. Users you share with access the files inside the folder, depending on how it’s shared:

Limit sharing of a folder #

Set full, visual, or special permissions for users

When sharing a folder with a user, you can choose what the user can do with that folder.

  • Tam: Users can copy, move, delete and download the folder and the files under it.
  • Visual: Users can only view the folder and the files under it.
  • Special: Users can copy, move, delete, download the file, or these permissions can be customized. Expiration date, download, size, ip restriction can be defined.

Change shared users

When you share a folder, you can change the permissions of the users you grant access to, remove them, and add new users or groups over time.

  2. In the left menu
    ‘My Shares’Click . Right-click on the folder whose permissions you want to change.
  3. Share
    or to the right of the file

  4. You can add new users you want to share with and remove users you want to share with.
Files deleted from shared folders #

When a user deletes a file from a shared folder, only the owner can access that file.

To retrieve a deleted file from a shared folder:

  1. In your browser login.narbulut.comby entering, Recycle Bin Go to the area.
    • Clue: You can sort files by recycle bin date to find the oldest or newest file sent to the recycle bin.
  2. Right-click the folder or file you want to recover.
  3. Undo Click.
  4. You can find the restored files in their original location. If the original location of the files no longer exists”My filesSee ” section.
Stop folder sharing #

When you share a folder, you can stop sharing before the expiration date.

  1. In your browser narbulut.comby entering, Narbulut nDocs Workspace Go to the area.
  2. In the left menu
    To My Shares Click. Right-click the folder you want to stop sharing.
  3. Share
    or to the right of the folder
    Share Click the icon.
  4. To the right of users or groups
    Click the icon.
